Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our research compounds, documentation standards, and ordering process.
Quality & Purity
What purity level do QRM's research peptides meet?
All QRM peptides are independently verified to exceed 99% purity prior to release. Every batch is tested before it ships — purity is documented, not assumed.
How are QRM peptides tested?
Each batch undergoes third-party analytical testing using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) for purity quantification and Mass Spectrometry (MS) for molecular identity confirmation. Testing is performed independently (not in-house) and results are published as a Certificate of Analysis on each product page.
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and does every product have one?
A Certificate of Analysis is a formal analytical document that records the purity percentage, lot number, test date, and methodology for a specific batch of peptide. Every QRM product has a COA. No product ships without one.
Where can I find the COA for my order?
COAs are available directly on each product page. Click the green View Certificate of Analysis button to view the most recent document for that product. Match the lot number on your vial label to the corresponding COA on the site to verify your specific batch.
Every COA we have ever released is also permanently archived in our COA Library. COAs for every batch, every compound, every test date, going back to day one are stored there. While other suppliers rotate or remove older records, we don’t. Every result stays public because transparency to the research community is our standard. If a supplier can’t show you historical data, you can’t know if today’s batch is consistent with the last one.
Are QRM peptides for human use?
No, under no circumstances. All QRM products are strictly for in vitro laboratory research use only. They are not intended for human or animal administration, therapeutic use, clinical application, or consumption of any kind. They are not FDA-approved drugs or dietary supplements. They are laboratory supplies intended strictly for scientific research use only.
Ordering & Payment
What payment methods does QRM accept?
QRM currently accepts Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, and cryptocurrency. ACH bank transfer is coming soon. We do not accept credit or debit cards at this time.
Is ordering from QRM secure and discreet?
Yes. All orders are packaged discreetly with no external branding or product labeling visible on the outer packaging. Your lab-grade products are packaged in a hard outer plastic shell and/or wrapped with bubble wrap to ensure safe transport to your research facility, while minimizing packing waste and ensuring your shipping costs stay as low as possible.
Can I place a bulk or wholesale order?
Yes, multiple vial discounts are available on each product page and automatically applied in your cart. These discounts can be combined with our Free Shipping offer or any other coupons or promotions currently running.
If you require 10 or more of a single product, please contact us at support@qualityresearchmolecules.com to discuss bulk pricing and availability for larger research needs.
Shipping
How fast does QRM ship?
Orders placed on business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays) before the 3:00 PM PST cutoff ship the same day, guaranteed. Because we value the importance of your research, we often ship orders on Saturdays as well. Orders placed after the cutoff or on weekends and holidays ship the next business day.
What is the same-day shipping cutoff?
3:00 PM PST on business days. The countdown timer on each product page shows exactly how much time remains before the cutoff.
How are peptides packaged for shipping?
All peptides ship as lyophilized powder in sealed, labeled vials. Each vial is secured in a protective hard outer casing and/or bubble wrap to prevent breakage during transit. Packaging is discreet: outer packaging contains no product branding or identifying information.
Does QRM ship internationally?
No. QRM ships to US domestic addresses only at this time.
Will temperature during shipping affect peptide quality?
No. Lyophilized peptides are stable at ambient temperatures for the duration of standard domestic shipping. This is the industry-standard format for shipping research peptides. Upon receipt, transfer immediately to appropriate storage conditions according to your laboratory’s storage procedures.
Storage
How should I store my peptides when they arrive?
We recommend the storage of lyophilized peptides at -20°C or colder in original sealed vials, away from light and moisture. For long-term storage beyond six months, -80°C is recommended. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
For shorter term storage, standard laboratory refridgeration temperatures are sufficient, but always follow your own institution’s established storage and handling procedures.
What is the shelf life of lyophilized peptides?
Lyophilized peptides can typically remain stable for weeks to months at room temperature, about 1 to 2 years in the refrigerator at 4°C, and 2 to 3 years in a freezer at -20°C, with even longer stability at -80°C. Proper storage conditions significantly extend their shelf life and maintain their integrity: remember to avoid exposure to UV rays and visible light, moisture, humidity, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Always follow your own laboratory’s standard storage procedures and protocols, as requirements may vary by compound and research application.
Returns & Refunds
Where can I find your refund policy?
Our refund policy can be found here and is also linked in the footer of each page. Please review it carefully before purchase, and reach out to us if you have any questions.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
We strive to package and ship our products in a way that reduces the chance of any damage while in transit. However, if this does occur, please take the following steps to assist us in processing a replacement:
- Document the damage with photographs and/or video before handling the product further.
- Include outer packaging, inner packaging, vial, and tamper seal.
- Contact us at support@qualityresearchmolecules.com within 72 hours of the carrier’s confirmed delivery timestamp.
- Include your order number and clear unaltered photo and/or video documentation.
Where a manufacturing or packaging defect is confirmed, QRM will arrange a remedy at no cost to you.
Can I return a peptide I no longer need?
All sales are final. Due to the regulated and perishable nature of research chemicals, we do not accept unsolicited returns or exchanges. If you have a concern not covered here, contact us! We handle every situation individually and would rather have the conversation than have a researcher feel unsupported.
Research Use
What does "research use only" mean?
Research Use Only (RUO) is a regulatory designation indicating that a product is intended exclusively for laboratory and scientific investigation. RUO compounds are not approved, tested, or intended for use in humans or animals, and they are not drugs, dietary supplements, or medical devices. They have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety or efficacy in any clinical application.
At QRM, every product carries RUO status. This means our peptides are sold solely for in vitro laboratory research conducted by qualified researchers in appropriate facilities. Purchasing, possessing, or using RUO compounds for any purpose outside of legitimate scientific research may violate federal, state, or local law. By placing an order, customers confirm they understand and accept this designation in full.
Who can purchase from QRM?
QRM products are available to qualified researchers, academic and institutional laboratories, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, government research agencies, private research organizations, and independent research labs conducting legitimate scientific investigation. By placing an order, you confirm you are a qualified researcher and that products will be used strictly for in vitro laboratory research.
Are QRM peptides FDA approved?
No. QRM products have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA for any purpose. They are research chemicals and laboratory reagents, not drugs, medications, dietary supplements, or medical devices.
Does QRM provide usage, dosing, or reconstitution guidance?
QRM does not provide dosing, administration, or usage guidance on the site. For technical community discussion and research support, request access to the QRM researcher Discord by emailing support@qualityresearchmolecules.com. Any inquiry indicating intended human or animal use is a violation of our Terms of Service.
